Distribution - toy pickup
Volunteers are needed to help distribute bags of toys to parents. Each bag is labeled with identifying information showing which family it belongs to and which child in that family should receive it.
When a family drives up, they will provide their family number. A volunteer will then locate the corresponding family information sheet, which lists the grid location where that family’s bags are stored. The storage areas are divided into clearly marked grids using a letter and number system (e.g., A-3, D-4).
Each bag is also labeled with the family number, grid number, and number of children to make sure the right bags go to the right families.
You’ll be paired with a seasoned volunteer, so you won’t have to figure things out on your own. Expect to do plenty of walking—please wear comfortable shoes.
