With SNAP benefits temporarily paused, many families in our community are facing added challenges putting food on the table. This page was created to connect neighbors with the help and hope they need — and to offer ways for others to lend a hand. Volunteer with local organizations, give to those working to fight food insecurity in Wilson County, or explore where to find food support.
Serve with Local Organizations
Our community runs on compassion. Volunteers are needed to help distribute food, serve meals, and support organizations working daily to fight hunger. Your time and presence can make a real difference.
- Load cars with food at the Nashville Dream Center's Free Grocery Giveaway in Lebanon on November 15.
 - Distribute food at Midwest Food Bank's Mt. Juliet warehouse on November 19.
 - Help Jesus Provisions Ministries & Care Center provide 200 Thanksgiving meals to neighbors in Wilson County on November 21.
 - Deliver meals to homebound seniors with the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center on any day of the week.
 - Help prepare boxes and organize the food pantry with Jesus Provisions Ministries & Care Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
 - Serve lunch on Sundays to the unhoused in Nashville with Jesus Provisions Ministries & Care Center.
 - Find a volunteer opportunity with Compassionate Hands as they serve the unhoused in our community.

Give to Support Our Neighbors
If you’re able to give, every donation — whether food, funds, or other essentials — helps ensure that no neighbor goes hungry. We encourage you to visit the websites of our Community Partners working to address food insecurity to see how you can best support their ongoing efforts.
