DV Wilson Winter Storm 2026: Community-Wide Day of Service
Join us for a community-wide service day as we put Love in Action by helping our neighbors in Wilson County who are recovering from Winter Storm Fern. Many residents are still facing storm-related damage and cleanup needs, and your willingness to serve can make a real difference.
Volunteers will be assigned to small teams and sent to assist with a variety of tasks, which may include debris removal, light cleanup, moving fallen branches, and other basic outdoor recovery projects. No special skills are required, though chainsaw experience is a plus!
Details and project assignments will be shared after registration. A boxed lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Suggested Supplies:
- Work gloves
- Closed-toe shoes / sturdy footwear
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Rakes
