DV April 2025 Storm Clean Up Project : Team Rubicon
April 3-5, Wilson County experienced several destructive storms, taking down numerous trees, damaging homes, and affecting many homeowners.
Team Rubicon is helping Volunteer Network with a home that had substantial tree damage from the storms at the beginning of April. They need 5-8 volunteers willing to assist with this job.
You will be moving large amounts of tree debris to the road for pick-up. Volunteers with chainsaw experience will be needed to cut up fallen trees.
Suggested Supplies:
- Work gloves
- Rakes
- Water (Volunteer Network will also provide)
- Sunscreen
- Tarps
- Wheelbarrow
- Flat Shovel
- Polesaw
- Chainsaw (experience required)
- Chainsaw Chaps (if using a chainsaw)
- Eye protection (if using a chainsaw)
- Ear protection (if using a chainsaw)
